Our Story
First Baptist Church has been in the community of San Bruno since 1936. The beautiful white chapel was built in 1942. In February 2021, the church called a new pastor to lead them into their next phase of ministry.
FBC has a rich history for which we praise God. In 2022, FBC celebrated its 80th year anniversary. Though we are thankful for what God has done in the past and anticipate what God will do in the future, we are most excited about what God is doing presently.
With our foundation on the Word of God and our focus on the God of the Word we pray to be a people of God that obeys the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
